Ingredients
For Pulao Masala Paste:
- 2 garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 green chili
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 2 onions
- 3 tomatoes
- ½ cup coriander
Ingredients for veg pulao
- 2 tsp beans
- 2 tsp carrot (Match Stick Cuts)
- 2 tsp capsicum
- 3 tsp peas
- Broccoli rough chop
- 1 cabbage rough chop
- 2 potato cut in (Large Dice)
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 5 cashews
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 3 black pepper
- salt as require
- 4 tsp oil olive oil
Instructions
- First of all, in a small mixer, take ½ cup coriander, 1 inch ginger, 2 garlic, 2 chilies, 2 pods cardamom, 1 inch cinnamon,3 tomatoes
- Add ¼ cup water and blend into smooth paste. Keep aside.In large kadai (pan) add 4 tsp oil, 1 tsp cumin, 1 bay leaf, 1 inch cinnamon, 2 pods cardamom, 3 cloves, ½ tsp black pepper and 5 cashews.
- Fry on low flame until the spices become aromatic.
- Now add ½ onion and saute until the color turns slightly golden.
- Also, add beans, capsicum, peas, carrots and potatoes.

- Now add prepared coriander paste and 1 tsp salt. Mix well.
- Also, add 2 cups water and stir well until it boils.
- Once the water comes to a boil, add 1 cup basmati rice.
- Make sure to soak the basmati rice for 20 minutes.Mix well, cover with lid and boil for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, veg pulao is ready to eat.
