- 2 cup basmati rice
- 2 tbsp ghee butter
- 2 cloves
- 4 tbsp cardamom
- 2 bay leaf
- 2 green chilli
- 2 fresh red chilli chopped finely
- 50 gram cashew nuts
- 25 gram Raisins
- 4 cup water
- salt as per taste
Instructions
- Wash the rice and keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a sauce pan and fry cloves, cardamom and bay leaves.
- Then add red and green chillies and salt and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add raisins and cashews and fry for 1 minute.
- Add rice, fry for 2 minutes. Then add water and increase the heat.
- After it boils, cover it and cook on low flame till rice is cooked and water dries up.
- Turn off the flame and keep it covered for 5-7 minutes.
- Your sweetcorn pulao is ready.
