Expert tips

  • How to prepare the dough for paratha- Paratha flour is kneaded differently from normal chapati flour. To knead the dough of paneer stuffed paratha, add a pinch of salt and oil to wheat flour and knead it. Parathas should not be made immediately after kneading the dough. Keep the dough aside for 15 minutes by covering it with a damp cloth.
  • Stuffing- While adding the spices, make sure that the spices do not stick and mix well. Cook the stuffing until the water from the mixture dries up.
  • Paneer- Use fresh paneer in parathas, if you don’t add fresh paneer then it won’t taste good.
  • Filling- Do not fill too much filling in parathas, doing so can tear the paratha while rolling. Roll the paratha with light hands.
  • Special – To increase the extra taste, you can add white sesame seeds, dry mango powder, curry leaves. If you want, you can knead the stuffing in the dough itself, this way you will not have to prepare separately.
