Mushroom Matar Pulao is a delicious recipe. It is mixed in peas and mushroom pulao. Peas have good yield in cold season, that is why I am adding peas along with mushrooms. If you make it in any other season then you can skip the peas also can do. Mushroom Matar Pulao is a very nutritious pulao because I have added mushroom in it. Mushroom is very nutritious for the body. This is a very easy and simple pulao, you can make it as a dish, it is a very tasty pulao. Eating mushroom is very beneficial for health. Mushroom is such a vegetable whose taste makes any dish wonderful. The texture of mushroom is very soft and it is cooked in oil and spices.

We add mushroom to things like pizza, pasta, salad, soup etc. and it is rich in nutrients. Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are found in mushrooms which strengthen our immune system. Ingredients
  

  • cup Basmati rice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 150 gram button mushroom
  • ¾ cup green peas
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 bayleafs
  • broccoli optional
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • salt as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash the rice and let it soak in water for half an hour.
  • Then drain the water and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin and cardamom.
  • Add cinnamon, bay leaf, garlic and fry for 3 minutes while stirring.
  • Add tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli and salt and mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add rice and peas and mix well.
  • Add three cups of water. Once it boils, reduce the flame to low. 15 20
    cover and cook.
