- 1 cup chana dal
- 1½ cup paneer cut in square pieces
- 1 tsbp onion
- 4 clove garlic chopped
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1¼ tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp ghee
- 1 tsbp oil
- green coriander for garnishing
- 2 tsp tomato
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
Instructions
- wash the chana dal with clean water.
- Add 1/2 tsp saltand turmeric powder in the cooker along with 2 cups of waterand cook till 2 whistles.
- Heat ghee in a pan, frythe paneer and put it in water.
- Put oil in the same pan,when it gets hot, add onion and garlic, fry until golden
- Add red chilli, remaining salt, ground coriander and garam masala, after half a minute add tomato and green coriander and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add ripe dal and mix well, until boiling.
- Squeeze out the water from the paneer.
- Cook for 6 minutes and garnish with coriander.
