Guava  Chutney is a paste either cooked or uncooked which is blended to a fine paste In south India, especially Tamilnadu is the home for chutney . we also call it as Thuvayal, But these are mostly cooked and pasted.

But whatever the chutney recipe you make you add Tadka at the end which really gives the fine taste, aroma and finishing touch.

Tadka – Heat the oil crack Mustard and red chilly , then you can add channa dal, urad dal, curry leaves and pinch of hing, once it is golden brown you can add it in the chutney the flavor will make you very happy.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gram guava
  • ½ cup garlic
  • ½ cup coriander
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • ½ salt
  • ½ tsp cumin powder

Instructions
 

  • Remove seeds from ripe guava and cut it into small pieces.
  • Now add guava, garlic, coriander, lemon juice, black salt and cumin in the mixer jar and grind them.
  • Keep in mind that black salt contains salt, so add it carefully.
