Ingredients
  

Ingredients for Tomato soup

  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp oil
  • ½ carrot chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp cream
  • saly as require

Instructions
 

  • First, heat 1 tsp butter in a pan, and saute ½ onion, 2 cloves garlic and 1 bay leaf.
  • Add 3 tomatoes, chopped ½ carrot and ½ tsp salt.
  • Sauté for a minute.
  • Add ½ cup water and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
  • Boil the tomatoes until they become mashed.
  • Now remove the bay leaf and cool the mixture.
  • Blend to smooth paste without adding water. Now filter the tomato paste through a sieve.
  • Adjust the consistency by adding ½ cup water or more.
  • Boil the soup and add 1 tsp sugar, ½ tsp black pepper and ¼ tsp salt.
  • Mix well making sure all the spices are well combined.
  • Switch off the flame and add 2 tsp cream, mix well.
  • Finally, serve the creamy tomato soup garnished with mint leaves and cream.
